Shopify Integration

Connect your Shopify store to automatically sync products and monitor their AI visibility.

Prerequisites

  • A Shopify store with the Admin API access
  • A Shopify Admin API access token (or custom app credentials)

Connection Steps

  1. Create a custom app in your Shopify admin under Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps.
  2. Configure scopes: The app needs read_products scope.
  3. Generate an access token and copy it.
  4. Enter your store URL (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com) and the access token in NexGeo.ai during onboarding.

Product Sync

NexGeo.ai syncs your Shopify product catalog via the Shopify Admin API. The sync pulls:

  • Product title, description, and images
  • Product status (active/draft/archived)
  • Product URL (handle)
  • Price and variant information
  • Product category/type

Products are synced automatically when you connect your store and can be re-synced from the Products page at any time.

Limitations

  • Draft and archived products are synced but marked as inactive
  • Product variants are not tracked individually (parent product only)
  • Sync is one-way: changes in NexGeo.ai are not pushed back to Shopify
