Getting Started with NexGeo.ai

Getting started with NexGeo.ai takes less than 5 minutes. Here's a walkthrough of how to set up your account, run your first scan, and start optimizing your AI visibility.

Step 1: Connect Your Store

After creating your account, you'll be guided through our onboarding wizard. Connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store for automatic product sync, or upload a CSV if you use a different platform.

Step 2: Run Your First Scan

Navigate to the Scans page and trigger a new scan. NexGeo.ai will query AI engines with prompts relevant to your products — covering discovery, consideration, and purchase-intent stages of the buying funnel.

Step 3: Understand Your Scores

Each product gets a visibility score from 0-100 based on:

• Whether AI engines mention your product
• Where in the response the mention appears
• The sentiment of the mention (positive/neutral/negative)
• Whether the engine cites a source URL
• Whether the engine explicitly recommends the product

Step 4: Take Action

Use the Recommendations page for AI-generated optimization suggestions. The Optimization dashboard gives you prioritized actions across 6 analysis types — from fixing citation gaps to addressing engine-specific weaknesses.

Step 5: Track Progress

Run scans regularly to track your visibility over time. The Trends page uses linear regression to predict where your scores are headed, and the Alerts system notifies you of important changes.
